Hello everyone, my name is Matt!

I come from Pasadena, CA, and went to college at the University of San Francisco here in the Bay Area. I love rock climbing, hiking, and being outdoors in general. I also greatly enjoy collecting and growing different kinds of strange plants from all over the world. Previously, I interned for a nonprofit called the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network. There I worked in salmon and habitat conservation and gained valuable experience in native plant identification and care. I am very excited to continue my work in conservation and look forward to everything the Natural Resource team has to offer. Having spent lots of time in SF and Marin, I look forward to working closer to the south bay and learning about the ecosystems there.
