Come Along! Destination…Whiskeytown National Recreational Park!

Hello everyone! My name is Jess Angulo and I am interning with Environment for the Americas: Fish and Feathers! This summer I will be working in Whiskeytown National Recreational Park. Here, I will be working / learning from the NPS Interpretation department about fishing and birding outreach to park visitors via informal and formal programs. I am so excited to tag you all along this summer!

A Little About Me…

I’m a student from Cal Poly Humboldt in California, majoring in Wildlife Conservation and Management. I have been interested in wildlife conservation for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching shows like Crocodile Hunter, The Most Extreme, Planet Earth, Big Cats…practically ANYTHING on Animal Planet. Wildlife and their ecosystems has always fascinated me more than anything else, and I want to protect and restore as much as I can. One of the best ways to do this is education and outreach to show everyone from all backgrounds why nature is amazing, what makes/doesn’t make it thrive, and how we can do our part.
