Camp Maga’låhi 2022 Summer Camp: Day 1
- Camp Maga’låhi is a summer program hosted by the Northern Marianas College 4-H club. Maga’låhi is the Chamorro word for a male ruler of a society; president, governor, clan ruler, etc. As a community with young strong minded children that leads to success, Camp Maga’låhi has chosen their Camp name as an inspiration of being great leaders. The American Memorial Park stands in partnership supporting Camp Maga’låhi every summer with the activities of education and outreach on the park’s mission. Fish and Feathers interns, myself and Jether tagged along with the Park Rangers to educate our young campers on the native birds in the Mariana Islands and the importance of bird conservation.
