03 Jul Getting Situated at Superior Forest National Headquarters
As a program support intern, the first two weeks have been calm. Since my link pass hasn’t come in yet, I’ve been limited on what I can do. My supervisors, Barb and Teddy, have been hard at work getting me access to many things I need to do my work required to do needed work. In the meantime, I’ve been working with the LEOS from the Chippewa, Superior, and Chequamegon-Nicolet National forests collecting and managing inventory data. I’ve also been working on file management and just got assigned an MOU document to fix up. As time passes, my supervisors will have me working with some other departments once a pay period, which is exciting. I look forward to getting out there with the archaeologist to see what it’s like. I’ll also be doing runs with Teddy out on patrol. I just have to let everything settle in before the work gets going. Overall, I enjoy it thus far!
