During our time there, Amaya and I got to sit and chat with Katherine and kind of just catch up on what’s been going on in our remote positions. She asked us questions like ‘what’s been going well’ and ‘what improvements could be made for future cohorts’. It was really nice to be able to have that personal connection with Katherine and Amaya especially since I have a remote position and don’t leave my house too often. 😅 We also got the chance to meet others who work in the EFTA office, including Susan Bonfield, the Executive Director of EFTA. She was lovely and told us we could come out and work from that office any time we’d like which I thought was so nice of her. We also spent some time with another staff member, Paulina, who was also really lovely! She is a program assistant and runs the content for EFTA and was actually the one who took some of these pictures. Thanks Paulina! It was really great to chat with others in the office over a slice (or a few) of pizza!
