Starting a new job is stressful, but what has kept me cool is the creeping up of another beautiful Seattle summer! As a remote worker for the National Partnership Office, I run on an East Coast work schedule while living on the West Coast. This means my days start early and end early! Taking breaks and going outside to just breathe and bask in the warm sunlight has kept me refreshed as I learn to fill my new role with the USFS.
