Connecting with the local community is my favorite part of this internship so far! I coordinate 2-day fishing clinics, and it is something to get to know the participants personally, build connections and give them these kinds of experiences with our natural resources.
Above are a few of the evaluations I have received from the participants of my fishing clinics. I think it really shows how impactful a program such as this one can have! Hearing that the participants enjoy these programs as much as I do is amazing! (:
