I recently embarked on a unique project in my journey with the Forest Service: restoring the old windows of a historic cabin located in the Uinta- Wasatch- Cache National Forest. This task was not only about the repairs, but also about preserving the cabin’s history. Each window told a story, reflecting the countless seasons and stories witnessed over the years. The meticulous process of restoring these windows was a wonderful experience! It reminded me of the importance of conserving our heritage and how even the smallest elements (like a window) play a significant role in outlining our past
