08 Feb Jade Lee Introduction
Hello! Please find my introduction video below! As well as a written introduction about me: my name is Jade Lee, I am a Resource Assistant with the U.S. Forest Service and Environment for the Americas. I will be working with the Eastern Service Planning Group remotely, helping revise management plans for forests in Regions 8 and 9. I recently got my masters at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA but will be moving to St. Petersburg Florida at the end of the month. I am most looking forward to working with such a diverse group of national forests/grasslands and partners, as well as learning more about land management and natural resource conservation! I have experience working in plant conservation and invasive species management in Oregon/Washington, Hawai’i and Georgia. I graduated with a masters in geography at Georgia Southern where my focus was Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing to study marsh dieback. I have always been passionate about the outdoors and preserving nature, my dream job would be working with an organization that has these same values! Some fun facts about me is that I grew up in France and completed my undergraduate degree in Canada.
