08 Feb Mack Laverick Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Mack Laverick, I’m part of the Resource Assistant Program (Winter Cohort 8) with the United States Forest Service and the Environmental Society of America. I’m originally from South Dakota and will be working in the Okanogon-Wenatchee National Forest in northern Washington. I’ll be working as a botanist on several projects including white bark pine surveys, invasive species management, and rare plant monitoring. I’m beyond excited to explore this beautiful region and connect with the local plants, people, and more!
