Blog #1: Ways to help folks with disabilities enjoy birding

I think it would be a good idea  for individuals with disabilities to be able to sit at  different park benches or picnic tables to be able to bird watch.

Accessible trails with a variety of distances to accommodate folks with disabilities and mobility needs.

Having adaptive equipment that could be positioned onto someone’s wheel chair like binoculars or a camera to be able to enjoy birding.

Promoting education and awareness about disability etiquette within the birding community.

Offering opportunities for virtual birding online like live bird cams. Cornell lab bird cams offers a variety of live streams like hummingbird feeders and hawks nests.
