Birdwatching for Beginners

Guided Bird Walk with Naturalist Dave Sutherland

Saturday March 23,  9 – 11 am
Many would-be birder watchers are intimidated by identical little birds with similar names. Can’t tell a Yellow-breasted Noddlehatch from a White-winged Towhagen? Join naturalist Dave Sutherland for a fun introduction to the world of birds, how to spot them and identify them, and how to pick the best bird field guide and best binoculars. Meet at the neighborhood access point to the Bear Canyon Trail in SoBo, approximate address 1500 Bear Mountain Drive in Boulder. Bring binoculars and bird guides if you already have them. Birders of all abilities welcome, but beginners are cherished.

This program is sponsored by Environment for the Americas and is free and open to everyone.

Birdwatchers of all levels are welcome, but beginners are cherished.

This event is at full capacity, and sign-ups are available only for the waitlist.

Limit:15 participants. Registration is required.
